Make a Stop at the Stores

While we provide the essentials, it's wise to stop by a grocery store on your way here. Sabattus is a small town, but just 10 minutes away is Lewiston/Auburn, a twin city with a variety of stores. We recommend making a stop there before arriving. Below are the closest stores we personally use to get you started.

Rusty Lantern

Gas station, good late night take out, surprisingly decent wine and beer, snacks.Everything fresh, friendly & fast.

CVS Pharmacy

Pharmacy and convenience store with meds, snacks, beauty products, and quick essentials. Open late.

Walmart

Huge retail chain with everything—groceries, electronics, clothes, home goods. Low prices, big selection, and super convenient.

Hannaford

Grocery chain in Northeast, fresh produce, quality brands, friendly service, great deals, pharmacy options, and local favorites.

We provide high quality bamboo linens for each bed. Each guest gets 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and one beach towel waiting for them on the bed. Additional bedding and towels are in the bathroom linen closet.

The main room features an open layout with a full kitchen, dining area with French windows, and a large deck with a grill and seating. A60-inch TV offers plenty of entertainment options.
Enjoy free coffee, tea, and grill gas. Please be considerate. Let us know if we are running low.

Instructions

We provide washer, dryer and washing liquid. Laundry is in the basement, you can get there either through kitchen staircase or use bulkhead.

Firewood for stove and firepit is complimentary. Wood palette is in the basement, please use responsibly and let us know if we are running low.

We pick-up trash and recycle on Tuesday around noon. Please ensure all trash and recyclables are bagged, placed in the bins, and that the bins are accessible for collection.

Additional services. Order early to make sure we will be able to provide them on time. We offer boat motor installation, kayaks and housekeeping services.

Our house comes with a 7-foot fishing boat equipped with paddles and six life jackets (four for adults and two for children). The jackets and paddles are stored in the garage, and the door code is the same as the front door code. We also offer a boat motor rental for $200 (fule included). Lounge chairs, beach towels, and backyard games are available in the garage.
Our fire pit, with complimentary wood available in the basement, is surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs. It's the perfect spot to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine by the fire..
